Brenda Koontz

Brenda is our second feature for our artist center. She is a twenty-one year old, self taught artist living in Saginaw, Michigan. She works with traditional media, preferring pencils and Copic markers to create her art pieces. Brenda has always loved drawing and sketching. However, it wasn’t until she was in the eighth grade did she start to seriously consider her art. She used Pinterest as her teacher and just continuously drew picture after picture. Youtube served as her secondary teacher, both leading to where she is now. She isn’t looking to make a living off the art, but she does hope to gain some more attention to her Instagram page. You can find her Here. She generally specializes in women’s fashion, hoping to one day get more involved in fantasy projects.
